Are we out of cheese?

Hi. Secret for Yann: I suspect Stephen Harper is a literal person. Like me, he would find it easier to install a muffler (PITA!) than write a poem. That's a great book list but where is "The User Illusion" or "The Red Queen" or "Code Complete", all books with a generous helping of imaginative bullshit but an equally generous helping of profound and useful (the favourite literal word) intellectual tools (another literal favourite)? Make sure you don't let the Brie sit in the back of the cheese drawer past its date. Thanks, Alice

Things we take for granted....

January 7, 2010

There are many things that we take for granted... and we do not realize how much it means to us until it is forever taken away. Like our mother's unconditional love.

Dear Mum,

January 2, 2010

You would have loved this book!
You would have loved Harry Potter, and Titanic and you would have laughed with me about all the crazy music and TV nowadays.
You would have seen me grow up, seen me laugh, seen me cry.

I wish you hadn't died from Breast Cancer Mum, I was only 3

xxx
